Hey we are—it’s the final countdown, quite literally.
And like any impending moment, the feeling is abject terror. The week has been punctuated with moments of fear and worry. Lots of looking at spreadsheets, doubting viability, and manically contacting manufacturers to try different things to save money.
The forever cool Ted talked me down and super helped—and now I’m feeling a little better. I learned a good lesson about keeping things in perspective, checking where you can trim fat and keeping in mind that the project will always continue developing.
Below are pictured the final prototypes which will be present at the event on Thursday.
This week I was also able to visit Windy Kitty Cat Cafe with prototypes and continue to sketch out and develop ideas for what the box could be / how I can continue to develop it to be more cost and shipping efficient. It’s the final push—get it over the line and send it out into the world to see how it goes. I’m come to terms with the fact that even it this project “fails”, I’ve learned so much from the process that I’ll be ok with it.
