The Boxes for Happiness Kickstarter has been ticking along. Just over a week in, and the project is 43% funded. Now is slump time, so it’s when the work really begins. I’ve reached out to a couple of people on Instagram and it seems I might be able to get a couple of boxes to people who will take them and maybe post about them (hopefully that can drive some traffic). This week I’ll also be taking a couple of boxes up to Treehouse, which will hopefully give me some more exposure, and finally Windy Kitty have mentioned that they will be posting on instagram about the project soon. Hopefully all of these together will add up to some more sales. I’d love to get over 100%, and I’d love to get there before the final week of the project.
I’ve had a couple of people cancel their pledges this week, and it’s always somewhat hurtful—which is kind of dumb, but it seems personal for some reason.
So, like I said before, time to work on the project and take updates to people—here’s a concept for breaking the network down into smaller parts to make manufacturing and shipping way easier:
This seems to be working pretty good—there are a couple little things to play with, but I also have a couple more different design tests to work on, which will hopefully give me some more to share on Kickstarter and continue to get people excited about the project.
