So, I’m going to keep writing here as more of a narrative of events and journal style, but also attempting to put together some content that I can share on other platforms as more like “article” style pieces which I can use to drive traffic (fingers crossed). I also bit the bullet and took advantage of a price drop to get www.boxesforhappiness.com (currently a website about a restaurant in NY because squarespace templates), where I’ll be able to do more of that stuff.
It’s been another crazy week of social media, working with manufacturers and development of the product and brand, as well as trying to really dial in the voice on the Kickstarter page itself. The launch date has been revealed—14th Feb at 5.30pm—so now its a wild hustle to try and get everything ready on time.
A few samples finally came in—really excited about these. I sat down with Tom Murphey from Reliable Container and looked over the product, which was a great experience. I was able to take some of those boxes away, hack them up a little, connect them with the plastic clips (working on a non-plastic solution), and take them to the Catcade. This was awesome, and made me feel super excited about the project and where it’s going—right now the only last thing is figuring out cost!
